Activities:

In recent past time our college has organized the following activities as follows:

Scouts and Guides (Rangers) :-

Ranger unit has been organized for the development of dedication and social values among the girls under scouts and guides. Six Rangers participated in Seven days boarding camp held in Jagatpura, Jaipur 2012-13.

Games and Sports :-

Games and sports have special place in the College. The following games are available Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, Football, Badminton, Spear-throwing, Table-Tennis, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Judo, wrestling and Chess.

The Principal appoints the captains on the recommendations of the lecturer/coach for each session.

Games are organized in the college each year December and January. Wining teams are awarded. Girls are sent to University of Rajasthan to participate in various competitions.

Growing saplings :-

Under the programme is organsed by N.S.S. Unit of the college each year in the month of August. Plants grown there are provided to girls who take to take care of them properly by programme officer.

Teacher’s Day :-

Teacher’s day is celebrated in the college on 5th September every year. On this occasion girls give gifts to the lecturers in their honour. On this occasion, special guests and specialists are invited and a thought-discussion is organized . In this series, Vice-Chancellor, University and Seniors professors, Prof. K.L. Kamal, Vice-Chancellor S.D.S. have honored the college.

Cultural Talent Search Programme (Dhamal) :-

This programme is organised to introduce new admitted students to stage their talent. Along with cultural programmes interesting and entertaining contests are organised and on the basis of various rounds, Miss Fresher is selected. Among new admitted students,The best dancer is selected and crowned on this occasion , various great personalities have visited the college. They are Prof. K.L. Kamal, Vice-Chancellor of University of Rajasthan, Smt. Saroj Kumari, State president B.J.P. Mahila Morcha Rajasthan, Shri Rajendra Singh Gudda, environment Minister Rajasthan Government, Smt. Ganga Devi and Local legislator, Shri Satveer Singh Dukia, The President of agriculture Mandi, Jaipur.

Organisation of Student’s Welfare Committee :-

Two best students are selected for students welfare committee from each section keeping in mind their roles in educational, cultural, games and sports and various activities. An executive committed is organised with approval of selected students. These students work as chain among students welfare management committee staff and students and help students welfare and college development.

World Aids day & Health awareness programme:-

On Ist December, Health awareness programme is organised by joint-venture Of N.S.S. and Red Ribbon club. On this occasion, poster and slogan competition are organised. Special lectures are given by specialist Doctors , In this programme, Dr. Ashok Goyal, Head of Department, Rajasthan Dental College Bagru Khurd, Dr. Buddi Prakash Lokanda, Director Manav Arogya Seva Sansthan, Bagru, Dr. R.B.L. Mathur, Speaker of Health awareness programme, have made their contribution in this field.

International human Rights Day :-

On 10th December each year, International human rights Day is celebrated. On this occasion, various literary programmes, quiz-contests, Small thought discussion, Panel discussion etc. are organised during different years, Prof. Room Singh Bareth, Vice-Chancellor, Maharshi Dayanand University, Ajmer. Prof. M.L. Sharma, South Asia Research Center, Prof. Sheela Rai, Political Department, University Of Rajasthan, Dr. Roopa Manglani Department study Center, Jaipur and Smt. Draupadi Malik, Secretary, Rajasthan State Mahila Commission have made their contributions.

Educational Tours :-

Educational tours are organised during winter vacations in the month of December in this service, students have visited Govardhan, Mathura, Brindavan, Ghanna Bird sanctuary, Agra, Fatehpur Sikari, Mount-Abu, Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Amber Fort, Jaipur city etc.

National Youth Festival :-

National Youth Festival is organized in the memory of Swami Vivekanand, a legendary, to inspire The Youths for contiruous growth from 12 to 18 January. In this seven days Camp, every day, students participated in various cultural , literary, entertaining and games activities. Inter group completions are organised among the girls. On the first day I inauguration ceremony is celebrated with pomp and show. In the last years, Shri Lal Chand Kataria, Central Rural Development State Minister, Government of India, Shri Satish Poonia State Chief Minister, Bhartiya Janta Party, Rajasthan, Shri Ghanshyam Tiwari, Former Education Minister and Sub opposite Leader, Government Of Rajasthan, Smt. Ganga Devi Legislator, Bagru, Shri Phool Chand Bhinda Legislator Viratnagar, Shri Prem Narayan Gupta, Social Former and President Agrwal Shiksha Samiti, Jaipur have honored The college as chief guests and game their blessings to the students. During the week, on the first day, solo dance, Group dance, Solo singing, Group singing, strange costume contests are organised. On the second day, literary competitions , as quiz-contests, Debate speech, and Fanny games like spoon race, hand-Kerchef snatching, Bori-race tyre-race are organised.

On the third day of the week, on the occasion of Makar Sakranti, Mahandi, Rangoli, Kite-flying compactions are organised. On the Fourth day Social awareness Railly in processed in Bagru Town in which different players are organised on the basis of social evils. On the Fifth Day, Athletic Competitions are held in which 100 Meter race, Shot-put throwing, lavue throwing, long Jump, High Jump, Three legs race, roe pushing programmes are organised. On the Sixth day, Sports Competitions are organised in which Kabbadi, Leg-Cricket, Volleyball, Cricket, Badminton like games are organised. On the Seventh day, ending Ceremony is organised and winners are given away prizes and the best group is given away the Vivekanand Trophy.

Annual Festival and Farewell :-

At the end of February, Annual Festival and Farewell are celebrated in which students of first and second years say adieu to their elder sisters. On this occasion, the first and second year students put vermillion on the head of Final year students and make them eat sweets and give them farewell. Colour but cultural programmes are organised and entertaining competitions are celebrated and Miss farewell is selected also.

Successful organization of state Junior Judo Competition :-

State Junior Judo competition was successfully organised in joint-venture of Bagru Girls College and Rajasthan State Judo Federation.

Silver and brass medals won in University Athletic Competition :-

Session 2012-13, in Rajasthan University games campus, Inter-college Athletic Competition, a B.A. Part 1st Year Student won Silver Medal in Discus Throw. In 2011-13 couege student Manita Gurjar in 100 Meter race competition, won State level brass medal.

Grand exbition of Inter College Competitions :-

College Students participated in Ullas-2013 programme held in S.S.G. Pareek P.G. College, Jaipur and performed excellently. The college students Vandana Sharma, Radha Sharma And Achukki Choudhary in quiz contest, Anju Prajapat in mahandi competition, Asha Choudhary and Nisha Yadav in solo dance participated and won the first position. The College Cricket team contested with Govt. College, Dausa in Rajasthan University Inter College competition defeated it and entered in the second round.

Under Rajasthan University inter college games competitions, held in Shri Bhawani Niketan P.G. College. The College team participated and the college team participated in Athletic competition held in Rajasthan University Sports round in which Anita Kumawat, a student of B.A. I, won the fourth position in 100 Meter race leathing the final round.

Yuva Bharat 2020 Conference State representation in Banglore :-

Dr. B.L. Devanda, Secretary, College Management Committee represented Rajasthan by participating in Yuva Bharat 2020 organised by S.Vyas University in Banglore with eleven students of the college from 25-26 February 2012.
